Deadly clashes erupt between UAE-backed militias in Yemen’s Aden

.ADEN, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Deadly clashes on Wednesday erupted between the UAE-backed southern transition council militias in Aden, southern Yemen, Yemen Press Agency reporter Said.

Militants belonging to the so-called “support forces “launched an attack on the headquarters of the security Belt Militias and support brigades funded by the UAE, in Al Sha’ab area, which left a number of dead and wounded, he added.

He indicated that the rapid deployment militia carried out a campaign of arrest against those involved in attacking the headquarters of the UAE-backed  security belt militants in “Aden, Lahj, Abyan and Al-Dalea” provinces.

The attack on the headquarters came after the UAE-backed militants stop a paper-handling procedure for one of the attackers.
