Marzouki: The UAE is the cat’s claw for the Israeli project in the region

 SAANA, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Former Tunisian president Mohamed Moncef Marzouki has described the UAE as “the cat’s claw for the Israeli project in the Arab region”.

He pointed that  the UAE is dragging Saudi Arabia which is taking measures that claim to be “reformist”, stressing that these measures are random and will turn over against them .

” Qatar and Turkey are paying a heavy price as a result of their support for the revolutions of the Arab Spring, and the blockade against Qatar and the attempt to undermine it, as well as the failed coup attempt in Turkey, are backed by Israeli plans and financed by UAE’s emirs,” Mohamed Moncef Marzouki told Arabic21 website in an interview on Tuesday.

” I think that Israel will not allow building Arab democratic states and stable regimes in any way,” he said.

Marzouki said that he expected that the ruling regimes that supported the counter-revolutions would face a new round of the Arab Spring revolutions that could be more violent than the previous one,

He Called on the Arab people to retry, but with peaceful revolutions so that they can inaugurate democratic systems and keep the country in the future.
