233 Himyarite artifacts found at homes of slain Saleh’s relatives
SANAA – The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums revealed that 233 artifacts were found in three houses of coup military officials in the capital Sanaa, where security forces raided them following last December’s sedition, director of the authority told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

A total of 222 collection was found in the home of Mehdi Makwala, the uncle of the slain former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, director Abdulkarim al-Barakani said.
Nine of pieces were found at the home of General Tarik Mohammed Abdullah Salah and two other pieces were found at the home Brigadier Ali Saleh.
The three officials are relative to slain former president Saleh, who led the Dec. 4 sedition.
The collection dates back to Yemeni ancient Himyarite times.
