Yemeni army foils in Saudi-backed militants’ infiltration off Najran

NAJRAN, Sept. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Wednesday foiled an infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militants in Ajasher desert off the Saudi southern province of Najran, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of militants were killed and injured during their attempt to make progress on the ground, the official added.

The official indicated that the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched intensive air strikes to back its militants in their failed attempt.
