 Occupation arrests 19 Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem

SANAA, Sep. 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians in Jerusalem and West Bank on Sunday, storming several houses and confiscating weapons.

The correspondent of Palestine now said, the Israeli occupation forces stormed various areas of the West Bank and raided several houses and there were clashes with young people, where they threw stones and hot Bottles at the occupation forces, as well as the Israeli army claimed it had confiscated weapons from the city of Nablus.

Large forces raided the Jalazun refugee camp in Ramallah and launched searching and combing in which they arrested a number of young men.

While the occupation forces arrested the secretary of the Fatah movement in the town of Issawiya in Jerusalem.

A member of the follow-up committee in Issawiya, Mohammed Abu al-Homs, said that Israeli forces and intelligence forces stormed the town, it then raided the house of Yasser Arafat’s secretary Yasser Darwish and destroyed its contents and arrested him and took him to the interrogation center.

Abu al-Homs said that violent confrontations took place in the town after midnight, and the Israeli occupation forces threw sound bombs indiscriminately in the alleys and streets of the neighborhood, while the youths responded by throwing stones and explosives.
