Report: 13 civilians killed in coalition air, ground attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Sep. 17 (YPA) – At least 13 civilians were killed and other injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched series of airstrikes and ground attacks on Yemen provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

• In Saada province:
Two civilians were killed in missile and artillery bombardment in Shada border district.
Missile and artillery shells targeted residential areas of Monabeh, Raaih and Haidan districts, causing damage to civilians’ properties.
Meanwhile, the warplanes of coalition launched series of airstrikes on Baqem district.
• In Hodeidah province:
Coalition’s warplanes targeted Hodeida radio station in Marwah district, killing 3 of its guards and one of its staff.
More than 10 airstrikes hit Kilo-16 area and nearby areas of Hali district.
Three airstrikes were waged on Maraweah district.
• In Bayda province:
Seven civilians were killed and other injured in an airstrike on a civilian’s home in Radman district.
