Yemeni army liberates several sites in Bayda

BAYDA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Sunday launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militants in Yemen’s central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces were able to liberate several sites in Natie district during the attack, the official said.

The official confirmed that several militants were killed and injured by the army forces.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled a number of positions of the militants in the attack which lasted over hours.
