Report: 19 citizens killed, 26 wounded in Saudi-led air strikes over 24 hours

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – At least of 19 citizens were killed and 26 others wounded in dozens of Saudi-led air strikes on various provinces over the past 24 hours, a security official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

In the capital Sanaa, the fighter jets waged three strikes on al-Nahdain area of al-Sabeen district, leaving heavy damage to the citizens’ properties.

In western province of Hodeidah, the combat jets launched a series of strikes on al-Hali district in the western coast front, killing 15 citizens and injuring 20 others.

In also Hodeidah, the warplanes launched five strikes on the city, Bait al-Faqaih and Tuhaitah districts, killing two men and wounding another.

In Jawf province, two civilians were killed and four others wounded when the fighter jets waged a raid on house of the citizens in al-Maslub district.

In Saada province, a man and woman were injured when the warplanes launched 23 strikes on Ghafar area, al-Dhaher, Kutaf and Baqim districts.

In border province of Jizan, the fighter jets hit site of al-Tuilq mountain six times.

In Asir province, Majazah area was targeted in six airstrikes waged by the coalition’s combat jets.
