Ethiopia to withdraw troops from joint border with Eritrea

SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed declared his government troops would withdraw from the border with Eritrea very soon, the Ethiopian state news agency reported on Wednesday.

Both African neighboring countries took the same action of withdrawing troops from the share borders.

The move apparently came to ease tense in the border areas after the two countries officially have opened the border for exchange trade following two decades of tensions.
