Cotton season, National texture industry discussed during meeting in capital

SANAA, Sep. 10 (YPA) – Deputy of minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Eng. Majeed al-Mutawakel met on Monday Chairman of the General Organization for Texture AbduIlah Shaiban in the capital Sanaa and discussed with him the conditions of the cotton season and Texture Industry.

The meeting dealt with several topics related to the production of cotton and the solution for the difficulties which led to the deterioration of the important plant.

It stressed on the importance of begin a study on cotton on Yemen and the necessary funds to produce and the make research to encourge the farmers to plant it and providing necessary cotton seeds.
