25-30 people are dying daily due to the closure of Sanaa International Airport: Ministry of Health

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Statistics indicated that at least 25-30 people are dying every day as a result of the closure of Sanaa International Airport and as well as the deteriorating of the public health situation in Yemen, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health (Abdel Hakim al-Kalhalani) said on Monday.

According to al-Khalani, he said that there are 200,000 humanitarian cases of patients and wounded people needing treatment abroad, but the coalition prevented them to travel by closing of Sanaa Airport.

He added that an estimated 27,000 patients have died since the closure of Sanaa International Airport two years ago.
