12 people killed, 4 injured in landslide in southern Ethiopia

SANAA, Sept. 5 (YPA) – At least twelve people were killed and four others injured due to a landslide in southern Ethiopia, local media reported on Wednesday.

The victims were killed in Duro district when the landslide crushed three houses, Fana Broadcasting Corporate reported.

 Ten dead Bodies have been discovered and search for other bodies still under way, Fana quoted police official saying.

The four injured were taken to a nearby hospital, the official added.

A landslide at a dump site in the capital, Addis Ababa, killed 115 people last year.
