MUKALLA, Sep. 5 (YPA) – Three citizens were wounded on Wednesday during clashes with security forces loyal to Saudi-led coalition, which tried to open roads closed by demonstrators in Mukllah city of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.
The city of Mukalla witnessed a broad civil disobedience, where angry protesters closed the streets by burning tires in protest against high prices and the deterioration of the Yemeni riyal.
This comes at a time all the Yemeni provinces are witnessing a popular uprising against the deterioration of the currency, especially before the Geneva negotiations scheduled for Thursday.
