America cancels $ 300 million in aid to Pakistan

SANAA, Sep. 2 (YPA) – The Pentagon said it had made a final decision to cancel $ 300 million in aid to Pakistan.
According to the Pentagon, the aid was suspended because of Islamabad’s failure to take decisive action against militants in a new blow to the deteriorating relations between the two sides.

The US Administration said Islamabad provides a safe haven for insurgents, who have waged a 17-year war in neighboring Afghanistan, and that is a charge Pakistan denies.
