UK prevents Saudi Arabia from broadcasting political announcements on its screens

SANAA, Aug. 29 (YPA) –The UK declared the prevention of broadcasting Saudi political announcements on its screens , in implementation of the ban imposed by the UK on the funded political announcements on its TV and Radio stations.

However, Riyadh seeks to show the presumed programs of “Reforms of Saudi crown Prince Ben Salman”.

An announcement showing girls driving cars in Saud Arabia was broadcasted on Sky 1 channel to enhance trade with the UK.

The UK government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industries of the United Kingdom Ofcom said that Riyad was trying to effect the british public opinion, breaking the ban.

The Guardian newspaper said that the Saudi still trying to broadcasting similar announcements.

Ofcom added that it considered the ongoing disorder on the Human rights, women liberty and opinion expression liberty and the war Saudi in Yemen and the british weapons’ deal sold to the Saudis before taking the decision.
