Gunmen kidnap girl in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen kidnapped a girl from a street in the district of Sheikh Othman in the southern port city of Aden, media sources reported on Sunday.

The media sources quoted the girl’s family as saying “Ayat Ali Saeed, 16, was kidnapped Saturday by an armed group on a bus from Kod Bihan Street in the Sheikh Othman district and taken to an unknown destination.”

The city of Aden has witnessed many kidnappings of girls recently, which observers described as a systematic operation that ends with murder or rape, in light of the control of the UAE occupation forces and the security chaos in the city.

A few months ago, an armed group kidnapped Manar Ibrahim Ahmed Ghanem from near of her home in Mansoura district, while Mona Abdullah Abdo was killed at the end of last June after being kidnapped for three days from al-Qalou’a neighborhood of Aden.
