SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has waged offensive operations on Saudi troops’ sites, inflicting them heavy losses over the last 24 hours, according to military reports obtained by Yemen Press Agency.
- In Najran border province:
Dozens of Saudi-backed militias were killed and wounded during repelling their infiltration toward Alib mountains series under the cover of air from Apache helicopters, reconnaissance and warplanes which launched 10 strikes.
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Akafa camp, Sudais and Shurfa sites.
- In Asir border province:
Dozens of militias were killed and others injured when the Yemen army foiled their advance toward Salami-well in front of Boqea border crossing.
Artillery shelling targeted Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Misyal site.
- In the border province Jizan:
Katyusha rockets were fired toward gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Aridha camp.
Other gatherings targeted in Mustahdath and Nashaw.
A Saudi military vehicle was destroyed by a guided rockets in Shyaba center.
- In Lahj province:
A missile, Ghirad, was fired toward militias’ gatherings north of Kahbub district.
A military offensive operation was carried out on militias’ sites in Sanmah and Kufiah sites of the same district.
- In Yemen province of Jawf:
Two of Saudi-backed militias were shot dead in Mutun district.
A military vehicle, loaded with militias, was bombed in Utemah desert, killing all its crew.
- In Nehm district:
Two Saudi-backed militias were gunned down in Qutib area.
- In Taiz province:
Dozens of militias were killed and wounded during an offensive which targeted their sites in Kabush area of Haifan district.
An offensive operation was carried out on mercenaries’ sites in east of Haima triangle of In Wazaiah district, burning a military vehicle.
- In Bayda province:
Tens of militias were killed and injured when the Yemen army foiled their advance north of Yafan village of Thi-Naem district.
- In Hajjah province:
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of militias in the north of Medi desert.
- In Marib province:
Ten of Saudi-backed militias were sniped in several areas of Serwah district.
Artillery force of the army shelled Saudi-backed militias in Matar hill of the same district.
