Ministry of Health condemns Saudi attack on health center in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 24 (YPA) –  The Ministry of Health and Environment in Sana’a has condemned a Saudi attack on the Balan Health Center in Al-Misrakh District, Taiz Governorate, saying the facility was completely destroyed and put out of service.

In a statement, the ministry said that targeting healthcare facilities constitutes a violation of international and humanitarian laws protecting medical facilities and healthcare workers. It added that the attack deprives Yemenis of access to safe healthcare.

The ministry called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities and take urgent action to halt continued violations against civilians and healthcare infrastructure.
