UAE accused of human trafficking

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – A number of human rights organizations have accused the UAE regime of the crime of throwing African children into the war against Yemen, a according to a report of the international campaign for the boycott of the UAE published on Thursday by Middle East Monitor  British site

“The UAE is trying to pretend that it is fighting in Yemen, while it is actually carrying out trafficking operations by recruiting poor African children and sending them to war in Yemen through the ports controlled by the UAE on the African side of the Red Sea, the repot added.

The report revealed the inhumane practices committed by the UAE against African workers who are brought to the UAE, then their documents and passports are confiscated by the UAE authorities, who are charged them with entering the UAE informally and are therefore put in jail to press them going to Yemen.

The international campaign called on the international community, human rights institutions and the United Nations to intervene to stop human rights violations committed by the UAE in Yemen and the financing of terrorism and human trafficking.
