SANAA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – Sanaa forces’ military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Monday heavy losses in personnel and equipment resulting from missile attacks targeting Saudi military build-ups.
In a military statement, Saree reported that the armed forces targeted six military gatherings of Saudi-backed forces in the Al-Suqya and Ras Al-Ara areas in Lahj governorate, using six ballistic missiles. He affirmed that the strikes were precise, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, as well as the destruction of several vehicles.
Shortly beforehand, Brigadier General Saree also revealed new details regarding the latest military developments in the eastern regions of Yemen, confirming the death of Saudi officers.
Saree stated in a military statement, “Our armed forces targeted Saudi enemy build-ups at Camp Al-Alam, which is operated by Saudi officers in the eastern regions.”
He confirmed that the strike resulted in dozens of casualties among the Saudi-backed forces, including Saudi officers.
Saree warned those he described as “duped individuals” against heeding calls from the “Saudi enemy to recruit them with its tainted funds into the furnaces of death, treating them as expendable in place of its own soldiers without regard for their lives.”
