Sanaa forces threaten harsh, painful strikes on Riyadh in response to Saudi threats

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces warned Saudi Arabia on Tuesday that any attacks on the Yemeni capital would be met with a harsh and painful response in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The statement was issued by Sanaa forces’ military spokesman, Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, in an urgent response to Saudi Arabia’s remarks about targeting sites in Yemen.

The warning followed Saudi Arabia’s announcement that it would target sites in Sanaa, specifically the Yemen Petroleum Company and the central Al-Sabaha power station.
