Sayyed Abdulmalek al-Houthi comments on Al Jazeera’s propaganda, warns Qatar of Saudi betrayal

SANAA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – Yemen’s Ansarullah movement leader Sayyed Abdulmalek al-Houthi on Wednesday commented on a scandal involving Qatar’s Al Jazeera channel.

He accused Al Jazeera TV of spreading a false report claiming that Saudi-backed military buildups had taken control of Mocha, Dhubab and Bab al-Mandab on Yemen’s western coast, warning also the Qatari leadership against as Saudi betrayal, recalling its previous experience with Riyadh.

In a televised speech marking the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation in Gaza and addressing the latest developments in Yemen and the region, Sayyed al-Houthi said, Al Jazeera has fallen to the level of the Israeli occupation’s Channel 14 and Al Hadath; it is part of the Qatari position.”

Addressing the Qatari leadership directly over its pro-Saudi stance in its media and on Al Jazeera, he added: “The Qatari position should remember how the Saudi regime betrayed and blockaded it without justification. Do not think that it is loyal.”

“The movement’s leader also recalled Saudi Arabia’s crimes under Mohammed bin Salman, whom he referred to as the ‘Father of the Saw,’ saying that the same person responsible for the killing of Jamal Khashoggi is committing the most horrific crimes in Yemen.”

Sayed al-Houthi praised what he described as free voices in Turkey and Pakistan that reject efforts by Saudi Arabia to drag their countries into the aggressive war against Yemen.
