Saudi-backed “chief of staff of emergency forces” killed by Sanaa forces in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 01 (YPA) – A commander of the Saudi-backed “Emergency” forces was killed on Thursday by fire from Sanaa forces on the Al-Kadha front, west of Taiz Governorate.

Saudi-aligned media confirmed that the Chief of Staff of the Emergency forces, Mohammed Salem Al-Khawlani, was killed when his vehicle was targeted on the Al-Kadha front.

This follows heavy losses inflicted by Sanaa forces on the Saudi-backed forces on the Al-Kadha front—as well as on other fronts in Jabal Habashi, Al-Shamayatayn, and Al-Aqroudh (in Al-Mesrakh)—amid the flight of numerous Riyadh-aligned commanders toward the Tur Al-Baha area in Lahj Governorate.
