British man killed, another injured in blast at military hardware factory

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – An explosion took place at a military equipment factory in Salisbury in Wiltshire killed one person on Friday, the British defense equipment maker Chemring Group said.

The explosion at a factory also injured another person, he was hospitalized, the company said in its tweet account.

The site had been evacuated and the situation had been brought under control, the company said, adding that an investigation into the cause of the accident is under way .

Chemring Group manufactures products to protect ships and warplanes from any possible attacks.
