Sanaa negotiator: Attacks on civilian sites in Yemen continue Saudi Arabia’s crimes against Yemeni people

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam said the military escalation and targeting of civilian facilities and sites in Yemen constitute a continuation of the massacres committed by the Saudi regime against the Yemeni people.

In a post on X on Sunday, he noted that the latest attacks included the bombing of a commercial market in Taiz province.

Abdulsalam said the continuation of such attacks exposes what he described as the Saudi regime’s destructive intentions toward Yemen, stressing that targeting civilians and civilian facilities would not secure any military or political gains for Riyadh.

He added that the attacks would only lead to further failure, saying military escalation cannot achieve the objectives sought by Saudi Arabia.

Abdulsalam said the continued attacks provide an additional incentive for the Yemeni people to maintain their steadfastness and resilience, reaffirming their commitment to the Yemeni people’s just objectives.

He also warned the international community, particularly Arab and Islamic countries, against going along with the aggressive war waged by the Saudi regime against the Yemeni people, calling on them to assume responsibility for the ongoing targeting of civilians and infrastructure.
