Child killed, 5 citizens wounded in Saudi airstrikes on Hodeida

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health and Environment announced, on Wednesday, that a child was killed and five citizens injured in Saudi airstrikes on Hodeida Governorate.

 

In a statement, the ministry explained that an airstrike on Zabid district killed a child and wounded two others, while a woman and two of her children were wounded in an airstrike that targeted a house in the Al-Jah area of ​​Beit Al-Faqih district, according to initial reports.

 

The ministry considered the crimes a flagrant violation of international laws that prohibit targeting civilians, and a continuation of systematic crimes under a 12-year-long blockade, calling on the international community and human rights organizations to condemn them and take action to stop the blockade and the humanitarian catastrophe.
