Sanaa forces launch large-scale missile attack on areas in southern Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Media sources reported on Sunday that new military attacks were launched by Sanaa forces targeting Saudi Arabia.

According to media outlets citing official Saudi sources, the attack targeted the city of Al-Tuwal in the Jizan sector, with video footage showing damage to several sites resulting from missile shelling.

During the past night, air raid sirens were activated multiple times across southern Saudi cities. Activists on social media platforms reported hearing explosions in the areas of Khamis Mushait, Abha, Jizan, and Najran.

Meanwhile, Sanaa forces have not yet issued an official statement regarding the nature or scope of the operation, which was described as among the most extensive and lasted for several hours.

These developments follow prior warnings issued by Sanaa to retaliate against what it described as ongoing violations and airstrikes. Frontlines are currently witnessing a simultaneous escalation in Saudi airstrikes following the control gained by Sanaa forces over districts on the western coast previously held by allied forces.
