Three Palestinians killed in vehicle fire near Baqa al-Gharbiyye in 1948-occupied territories

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Three Palestinians men were killed early Sunday after a fire broke out inside a vehicle that was parked in an open area near Jatt and Baqa al-Gharbiyye, in the Triangle region within the 1948 territories, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing media sources.

According to the sources, the bodies of the three men were found in the back seat of the vehicle, which was completely burned down.

With the deaths of the three men, the number of victims of killings in Palestinian society in the 1948 territories since the beginning of this year has risen to 159, amid the continued spread of organized crime and worsening insecurity.

Available data indicate that gunfire has been the method of killing in the majority of these crimes, while accusations continue to be directed at the Israeli police and government over their failure to curb crime and hold those responsible accountable.
