TEHRAN, Sept. 04 (YPA) – A security force affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Ilam province in western Iran, announced on Thursday the arrest of a seven-member cell belonging to a separatist group.
In a statement carried by Fars News Agency, the IRGC said the cell members, acting under the direction and with funding from a foreign party, had begun purchasing weapons and were planning to carry out armed operations in several cities in western Iran.
