Two Palestinian children injured by Israeli gunfire in Bethlehem

BETHLEHM, Sept. 04 (YPA) – Two Palestinian children were injured by Israeli occupation gunfire on Thursday during an Israeli raid on the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.

The Palestinian SIND News Agency quoted the Palestine Red Crescent Society as saying that its teams in Bethlehem treated a 14-year-old boy who was shot in the leg with live ammunition during the raid. He was subsequently transferred to a hospital.

Local sources said the occupation forces raided the town, seized the rooftop of a building and deployed snipers while firing live ammunition and tear gas at residents.

Meanwhile, the occupation also raided the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas.

Local sources told the Palestinian WAFA news agency that Israeli forces entered the village with several military patrols and raided a number of homes.
