Iraqi resistance sets September 30 deadline for US troop withdrawal

GAGHDAD, Sept. 03 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, Akram al-Kaabi, has issued a stern warning to US President Donald Trump, saying resistance forces are fully prepared for a “decisive war” if coalition troops do not completely withdraw from Iraq by September 30.

In a statement on Wednesday, al-Kaabi said the resistance would not allow Trump to claim what he described as a “fabricated media victory” in Iraq to restore his reputation.

He said the US administration was seeking to manufacture “illusory media victories,” while stressing that the Iraqi resistance would continue confronting the US military presence.

Al-Kaabi warned that any US soldier remaining in Iraq after the deadline would be subject to direct targeting.

He attributed previous US operational setbacks directly to strikes by Islamic Resistance factions, reaffirming that Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba fighters remain fully prepared to respond to any developments in the coming phase.
