2 citizens killed by Israeli occupation fires in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 24 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced, on Monday, the martyrdom of two civilians in Doha Kfar Rumman at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.

The National News Agency quoted the Health Emergency Operations Center in Beirut as saying that the bodies of two young men were found in Doha Kfar Rumman after they went missing after crossing the area. It was determined that they were targeted by the Israeli enemy, which led to their martyrdom.

The agency confirmed that the killing of the two young men coincided with the occupation forces continuing their operations of bombing, destroying, and burning houses in a number of villages in southern Lebanon.

In the town of Khiam in the Marjeyoun district, the occupation forces bombed a number of houses in the western neighborhood near the Al-Mabarrat schools this morning, and continued to set fire to houses and properties and burn agricultural fields in the area.

The occupation army also carried out a large bombing in the town of Yahmor al-Shaqif, the sound of which was strongly heard in various southern regions.
