Ansarullah official sends strong message to Riyadh, warns of strikes deep inside Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Hizam al-Asad, a member of the Sanaa Shura Council and a member of the Political Bureau of the Ansarullah, affirmed that Sanaa forces have the right to target and disrupt the sources of funding for Saudi-backed mercenaries operating inside Saudi Arabia, in response to Riyadh’s continued mobilization and recruitment of armed groups to maintain the blockade on the Yemeni people.

In a post on X, al-Asad wrote: “If Riyadh believes it has the right to recruit and mobilize mercenaries inside Yemen to continue imposing the blockade, then the armed forces have the right not only to strike these Saudi-backed forces, but also to target the sources and entities financing them within Saudi Arabia.”
