SANAA, Aug. 09 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces declared on Sunday that they had carried out a large-scale military operation targeting Saudi military concentrations, reinforcements, and weapons depots in the Mocha district of Taiz province.
Military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie said in a statement the missile strikes achieved precise hits, destroying military equipment and leaving dozens dead or wounded, including Saudi personnel.
According to a statement, the attack was carried out using a large number of missiles and drones.
The statement said the forces would not allow Saudi Arabia to achieve its objectives of targeting the Yemeni people and pushing Yemenis into deadly battles in service of its plans.
It added that armed forces would continue monitoring and tracking Saudi military movements and concentrations and would target them directly, maintaining the declared field equation of siege for siege and escalation for escalation.
