Military commander loyal to coalition killed in Dhalea

DHALEA, Aug. 8 (YPA) – Militias loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Dhalea southern province, assassinated the Brigadier General Saleh al-Homidi after he returned from the fighting front in Saada province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Brigadier General Saleh al-Homidi, the staff officer of the so-called Fatah Brigade in Yemen’s Saada was found dead in al-Rabwah area of Habelian district in the southern province of Dhalea, after looting his military kit and his personal weapon.

Al-Homidi is one of the most prominent southern military commanders who had joined the Saudi-led coalition since the beginning of the aggression on Yemen.
