Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 73,341 martyrs

GAZA, July 31 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 73,341 martyrs, according to the health ministry on Friday morning.

The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to174,086 people.

In its daily report, the health ministry said that hospitals received six civilian bodies and 34 wounded people over the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 1,214, Palestinians have been killed, and 3,977 others have been injured. The total number of martyrs’ remains recovered from beneath the rubble of buildings destroyed by the Israeli war machine has reached 804.

A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them until now, according to the report.
