Israeli enemy army bombards towns in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, July 26 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army carried out a series of bombings and artillery shelling, on Sunday, targeting the towns of Mays al-Jabal, Aitaroun, and Barashit in southern Lebanon, where the sound of the explosions was heard throughout the south.

The National News Agency reported that the Ali al-Taher heights on the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa were also subjected to artillery shelling, in addition to similar shelling that targeted the town of Mays al-Jabal.

The occupation continues to escalate its aggression against Lebanon since March 2nd, targeting towns and civilians, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese.

Despite the signing of an electronic memorandum of understanding on June 18th between the United States and Iran, which included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, the occupation’s daily violations continue.
