Death toll of ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 4,329

BEIRUT, July 23 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 16,562, including 4,329 martyrs and 112,233 wounded since March 2, according to a report by the Lebanese Ministry of Health published by the National News Agency on Thursday.

The report explained that the last five days witnessed the martyrdom of one person and the injury of six others, while the number of martyrs and wounded among health personnel reached 135 martyrs and 408 wounded as a result of 177 Israeli attacks on ambulance teams and hospitals.

Since the beginning of the aggression, the occupation army has targeted Lebanese towns and cities and civilian infrastructure, leading to the deaths of hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of about 1.5 million Lebanese, most of whom are not registered in shelters.

It is worth noting that a memorandum of understanding was reached on June 18, mediated by Pakistan, stipulating a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, Israeli violations of the agreement continue daily.
