Gaza death toll rises to 73,293 since October 2023

GAZA, July 21 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 73,293, with 173,906 people injured since 7 October 2023.

In its daily update, the ministry reported that hospitals in the enclave received 10 fatalities—including nine newly reported deaths and one person who later died of wounds—and 42 injured people over the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that since the ceasefire that began on 11 October, 1,168 people have been killed, 3,798 injured, and 802 bodies recovered.

It also said that an unknown number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble or in inaccessible areas, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
