Yemen armed forces to announce important position on Monday

SANAA, July 19 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based armed forces of Yemen announced on Sunday they will issue a statement on Monday unveiling the latest development about Yemen,

Spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie described the statement as an important position reflecting the aspirations of the Yemeni people.

The announcement follows recent remarks by Yemen’s Ansarullah movement leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi, who said a decisive decision would be announced after Friday’s mass rallies. During the demonstrations, participants called on Sanaa forces to implement the declared blockade for blockade policy against Saudi Arabia if Riyadh does not lift restrictions on Yemen.
