Sanaa official issues stern warning to Saudi Arabia, threatening strikes on oil facilities

SANAA, July 19 (YPA) – A senior official in the Sanaa authorities has threatened the Saudi regime with severe consequences, indicating that residents of the region will witness strikes on oil and strategic facilities.

Hizam al-Asad, a member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau and the Yemeni Shura Council said these actions would be taken “to lift the blockade, end the aggression, and secure the rights of the Yemeni people by force.”

Al-Asad stated on the social media platform X: “The Saudi regime, an agent of America, bears the consequences of the environmental pollution that will result from the ignition of wells, pipelines, tankers, refineries, export ports, stations, and petrochemical plants… the smoke and flames of which will be seen by the residents of the region.”

He added in an escalating tone, “With the help of Allah, we will extract our rights, break the blockade imposed on our people, and avenge the pure blood of our martyrs, and the grieving and bewildered eyes and hearts weighed down by years of aggression, misery, and the blockade.”
