HODEIDA, July 13 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Minister of Transport announced that on Monday the Iranian aircraft has safely landed at Sanaa International Airport, carrying a number of patients and stranded passengers, along with the official delegation of the Republic of Yemen.
Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia carried out multiple airstrikes targeting Sanaa International Airport while the Iranian aircraft was in Yemeni airspace.
In response, Sanaa’s political and military leadership declared that the Saudi aggression would not go unanswered, holding Riyadh fully responsible for the strike on the airport.
Officials stated that the period of de-escalation had ended and asserted that “the era of guardianship over Yemen is over forever.”
