Sanaa Government moves to boost industrial growth, expand local production

SANAA, July 10 (YPA) – The Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, visited on Thursday factories in the Capital Municipality and Sanaa Governorate to evaluate production performance and identify challenges within the industrial sector.

This initiative aligns with Sanaa’s directives to strengthen the industrial base and localize production.

Al-Bashiri engaged with factory owners and management to discuss production progress, difficulties, and proposals for enhancing production lines and modernizing operations. He underscored the ministry’s commitment to overcoming obstacles, fostering favorable conditions for factories to expand, and increasing output to meet local demand and reduce imports.

The government aims to support local products and protect national industries as part of its strategic goal to build a robust production base and promote self-reliance through an industrial renaissance centered on localization and enhanced domestic production.
