Iran warns of strong response to Trump’s Kharg Island threats

Tehran, July 08 (YPA) – Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks regarding Iran’s Kharg Island, asserting that Iran is prepared to confront any act of aggression.

In a statement on Wednesday, Rezaei said: “Trump has once again spoken about occupying Kharg Island. Come on, we are waiting for you, and we promise that not a single American soldier will return alive.”

Rezaei’s comments came in response to recent threats made by President Trump concerning Iran’s Kharg Island.

Meanwhile, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi described Trump’s remarks as “not a sign of strength, but rather an admission of the failure of a policy that for years has relied on force, sanctions, and threats.”

Gharibabadi stressed that U.S. policies had failed to subdue the Iranian people.

He concluded by saying: “The criminal and killer Trump must be spoken to in his own language, as he appears to understand only the language of force.”
