BERLIN, July 05 (YPA) – A pro-Palestinian demonstration was held in the German capital, Berlin, on Saturday.
A large number of participants gathered near Hallesches Tor metro station in the Kreuzberg district before marching toward the city center to protest Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.
The demonstrators protested what they described as genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, the killing of medical personnel, and the seizure of Palestinian land.
They chanted slogans such as “Stop the occupation,” “Israel kills children,” “Freedom for Gaza,” “We want justice,” “This is not a war, it is genocide,” and “Zionism is a crime.”
Participants also raised Palestinian flags and images of healthcare workers killed by Israel in Palestine, along with banners reading: “Freedom for Dr. Abu Safiya,” “262 journalists killed,” and “Freedom for Palestine.”
The demonstration, which saw heavy police presence, ended at Robert Koch Square.
