Hebrew media report security incident, exchange of fire in Lebanon south

LEBANON, July 02 (YPA) – Hebrew media outlets reported on Thursday that a security incident occurred in southern Lebanon involving an exchange of gunfire, amid reports of casualties among Israeli occupation forces.

The Hebrew news platform Hadshot Online said the incident was developing rapidly on the ground, while Hadshot LeCensura reported that the operation had been placed under military censorship, without providing further details.

Other Hebrew media platforms reported that several Israeli occupation’s soldiers were injured during the security incident. However, the occupation military has not issued an official statement clarifying the circumstances of the incident or the extent of the reported casualties.

The reports come amid continued Israeli attacks and alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon, which the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah – says constitute ongoing breaches of the existing truce.
