Palestinian killed by Israeli fire in Lod, allegedly for attempting stabbing attack

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 01 (YPA) – A young Palestinian man was killed on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces in the city of Lod in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, allegedly for attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.

Hebrew radio reported that the occupation police shot the young man after claiming that he tried to carry out a stabbing attack targeting a number of its members in the city.

For its part, the Hebrew “Channel 14” reported that the young man, who is believed to be a resident of the West Bank, tried to stab a policewoman belonging to the “Yasam” special unit, before the occupation forces opened fire on him, which led to his martyrdom.
