BEIRUT, June 27 (YPA) – An Israeli airstrike struck the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing at least one person and wounding two others, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

The ministry stated that the strike adds to the rising casualties recorded since the onset of the escalation. According to official figures released by Lebanese health authorities, the overall toll of the Israeli military operations in Lebanon since March 2 has reached 4,246 fatalities and 12,190 injuries.

Cross-border hostilities between Israeli occupation and Lebanon have led to severe humanitarian impacts and widespread displacement in the region over the past months.
