GAZA, June 27 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued, on Saturday, their violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 261st consecutive day.
Palestinian sources reported this morning that Israeli tanks and armored vehicles opened fire towards the eastern areas of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Concurrently, armored vehicles and infantry units encircled the house of a local resident in the southeast of al-Maghazi camp, amid intense gunfire.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled the southern areas of Khan Yunis, while tanks opened heavy fire east of the city.
In northern Gaza, the sources said that Israeli armored vehicles carried out a limited incursion into the central area of Jabalia refugee camp, amid heavy gunfire.
Since the ceasefire (October 11), the total number of martyrs has reached 1,031, in addition to 3,309 injured and 785 recovered bodies.
Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has reached 73,043, with 173,417 injured.
