Hezbollah salutes Yemen’s support for Palestine, Lebanon

BEIRUT, June 26 (YPA) – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem praised the Yemeni people, their leadership, and the Sanaa-based armed forces for supporting Palestine, Lebanon, and the resistance axis despite difficult circumstances.

Speaking during Ashura commemorations in Beirut, he commended Yemen’s steadfast position and also expressed appreciation for Iraq’s support.

Qassem reaffirmed Hezbollah’s commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty, calling for a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory and an end to all forms of aggression.

He stressed that no agreement compromising Lebanon’s sovereignty or normalizing relations with Israel would be accepted.

He also praised Iran’s role in confronting the United States and Israel, describing Tehran as a key supporter of regional resistance movements and emphasizing the importance of benefiting from the Iran-U.S. understanding process to strengthen Lebanon’s sovereignty.

Qassem reiterated support for the Palestinian cause, saying that Palestine would remain the central issue of the region and expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza.

He also renewed Hezbollah’s commitment to the resistance, asserting that it remains essential to Lebanon’s independence and defense.
